Full-Composite Dry Container

Project Background
The traditional container manufacturing process involves sanding and painting, and the processing environment is harsh. The use of composite material containers can replace the welding process with riveting and adhesive processing methods, completely improving the working environment. At the same time, this project is also a pioneering move by CIMC Group to respond to the trend of low-carbon environmental protection and ensure its leading position in the industry.
Project Difficulties
The width of the board has reached 2500mm, which has not yet been mass-produced;
Need to meet the performance testing of container roof series;
The side panels and other positions of dry cargo containers require high flatness of the boards.
Project Progress
Complete the development of composite material panels for the roof and side panels of dry cargo containers with composite materials;
In August 2022, for the first time, continuous production technology was used to complete the production of ISO standard sea freight dry cargo containers and 35 ton ultra spacious top sample boxes for China railway transportation, which were recognized by customers and certified by China Classification Society.
