On the afternoon of April 29 under fine weather and gentle breeze, the area downstairs of QCCC’s office building buzzed with excitement as a special May Day team-building event themed Build Dreams with Labor, Create Value through Hard Work kicked off joyfully.
Centered on QCCC’s six core corporate values — Integrity & Uprightness, Customer Success, Pioneering Innovation, Continuous Improvement, Win-win Cooperation and Result Orientation, over 80 employees from various departments formed random teams by drawing lots to break inter-department barriers and compete side by side in a unique relay jigsaw puzzle race.
During the contest, team members took turns to piece together the puzzle. Some fitted puzzle pieces swiftly and precisely, while others observed calmly and planned layouts prudently. Teammates high-fived for relay handover with seamless coordination amid constant laughter and cheers. Putting together one single puzzle united all participants. Within the limited time, every team finished its “value-themed answer sheet” with full dedication and teamwork. The venue was filled with cheers and shouts, presenting a warm and dynamic scene that fully embodied the vitality and cohesion of the QCCC workforce.
Award Winners
After rounds of intense yet enjoyable competition, the Win-win Cooperation Team claimed the first prize, the Continuous Improvement Team took the second prize, and the Striver Team won the third prize. Dong Xue, Deputy General Manager of the company, attended the ceremony to present awards to winning teams. She extended festive greetings to all participants and spoke highly of their teamwork and positive spirits displayed throughout the activity.
A jigsaw race has an ending, yet corporate culture development knows no bounds. Every puzzle piece carries QCCC staff’s concentration and collaboration, and each finished artwork records precious team memories. This collective cultural puzzle jointly completed by all QCCC members will facilitate the company’s corporate culture development and become a highlight across the vibrant office and production workshops.
