Internship Program Sets Sail to Consolidate the Foundation of Talent Cultivation Through Practice
After the unveiling ceremony, the cognitive internship program for students of the School of Materials Science and Engineering officially kicked off.
A total of 76 students took part in the practical training. The students visited the corporate exhibition hall and production workshops in sequence, gaining first-hand understanding of the company’s product portfolio, production workflows, manufacturing technologies and intelligent production models.
Combining the current industry landscape and real production scenarios, the company’s engineers explained the industrial application of specialized knowledge to students. This helps students link theoretical learning with practical work, gain an intuitive grasp of on-site industrial conditions and industry trends, and effectively break down the cognitive gap between campus theories and corporate practice.

This event serves as a new starting point for CIMC Chuangying and China University of Petroleum (East China) to deepen industry-university-research integration, empower the industry via science and education, and drive development through talent cultivation.
Moving forward, both sides will keep advancing school-enterprise cooperation and refine the collaborative talent cultivation mechanism.
